Program Description:
A class for women, designed by women!
Learn how to use basic household tools that you might find in an everyday toolbox. This course will help you feel more comfortable when tackling your own projects or fixing simple items that break in your home. Taught by Sheri Sarata, an accomplished lifelong teacher and graduate of the SBWI Wood Design program. Sheri will help give you the knowledge and confidence to tackle projects all on your own.
This class is the first in our series of women’s classes. Check out our other classes: Make Your Own Toolbox with Power Tools and Make a Charcuterie Board.
Learning Objectives:
Learn how to use common tools found in a tool box including socket sets, wrenches, screwdrivers, fasteners, squares, levels, drills and much more
Learn all about measurements, master the tape measure
Get introduced to common power tools like a drill
Learn how and why things are fastened together, and learn how to take them apart
Attendance Requirements: Students must attend all days
