Program Description:

Elevate your woodworking skills with our Angled Liquor Cabinet class. In this 5-day intensive workshop, you’ll embark on building a sophisticated case-on-stand project that will challenge and refine your abilities. This course focuses on the complexities of assembling a carcass with compound angles, as well as the precision required for drawer and door fitting. You’ll also shape the stand, integrating both power tools and select hand tools to achieve professional results.

Throughout the course, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the techniques needed to tackle any future case projects, using tools that are readily available to you. Due to time constraints, the materials will be mostly pre-milled and the course will focus mostly on power tool joinery. With a maximum of 5 students, you'll receive personalized instruction in a fully equipped woodworking machine room.

Although the cabinet photographed is made from walnut, we will be making ours out of Michigan Cherry or Ash. Carcass and stand wood species selection required at time of registration. Door and drawer face wood selection will be determined during class. If there is time, we will also apply finish to our cabinets.

The finished cabinet is approximately 30" tall, wide 28", and 15" deep.
