Program Description:
Join us at the Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute to make a unique band saw box. Class is intended for those with limited to moderate woodworking skills. We will design a box or students may choose a template provided in class. You will learn the fundamentals of woodworking technique over two days as you make a one-of-a-kind bandsaw box. Complexity of design will be based on the student’s skill using a bandsaw. With a maximum of 8 students, you'll receive personalized instruction in a fully equipped woodworking college.
Learning Objectives:
Proper use and set up of bandsaw
Proper use of a planer and jointer
Proper gluing and finishing techniques
Multi-wood lamination
Attendance Requirements: Students must attend all days
