Tiger Maple Decks
I've gotten the decks mostly machined and I'm putting a finish on the underneath sides as it will be harder to do once they are in the boat. These pictures are of the bottom sides of the decks and I'm brushing on the water borne finish that I used on the hull. It will dry fast enough that I'll be able to glue the decks in place this afternoon. The decks and the rest of the wood trim will be finished with varnish or urethane, probably a gloss finish.
Remember this picture with all the goopy resin when you see what the decks looked like all dressed up. I should be able to get the outer gunwale pieces on the boat tomorrow.
