Volunteer and change someone’s life — it could be yours

Habitat sets the stage for families and volunteers to come together. A family partners with Habitat and contributes their “sweat equity” or their own labor. A volunteer offers them a hand up, providing the support and the “muscle” that often means homes can be built at considerably lower costs. At a Habitat build site, relationships are formed and friends are made.

Habitat builds offer volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups, on weekends and weekdays, for the novice or the pro. So whether you’re a retired construction worker who isn’t quite ready to hang up the hammer or a busy mom who wants to squeeze in some service on the weekend, we have a place for you—working side-by-side with a future homeowner as they work to build a more secure future. ADRIAN CENTER FOR THE ARTS - GALLERY STORE

The Adrian Center for the Arts is located on the PlaneWave Campus. Adrian Center for the Arts is a flourishing network of artists, offering opportunities to children, students, adults and professional artists to pursue art, a place for self-expression and development of craft, through classes, workshops and artist’s studio spaces. In a peaceful surrounding, the campus vibe is interconnected through a diverse collection of media separated by buildings but not by spirit. The ACA gallery includes a store space where ACA Members can sell their works. The gallery has rotating shows throughout the year, but the store is open year-round. If you are interested in becoming an ACA Supporting Member at $30/year to sell in the gallery and take advantage of other member benefits, contact Valarie Herr at val.herracaexecutivedirector@gmail.com or (517) 759-3005. Please note, there is a 20% commission fee for items sold in the gallery store.
